Our journey began in 1907 with the vision of a master goldsmith, whose dedication to craftsmanship laid the foundation for a legacy that would revolutionize the jewelleryindustry. This dedication led to the establishment of the first retail shop in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

Laying the foundation for our presence in the Dubai Gold Souq and building a loyal customer base. Success in Dubai soon led to the opening of our first branch in the emirate of Sharjah.

The continued development of Dubai, along with the engagement of the third generation, brought renewed dedication to the jewellery industry. This dedication allowed us to expand our retail presence across the Emirates and beyond into other GCC countries. We also ventured into the wholesale business, began trading with Italy—recognized as a global leader in creativity and craftsmanship.

This expansion marked the transformation of our brand from a local business into an international jeweller.

Today, Jawhara Jewellery with more than 300 shops across 11 countries, with over 80 brand strongholds. Our legacy is narrated through timeless pieces that uphold the traditionaltechniques of jewellery making, showcasing the creativity of skilled artisans whose designs epitomize our expertise, heritage, and dedication to our loyal customers.

The family presented a luxurious array of Italian brands of diamond jewellery, captivating the market with their attractive designs.

1979 - The Opening of the First Store in the Retail Network

The Abdullah family introduced their retail brand Damas to the market as a retailer, while continuing to provide their existing services as including wholesale and jewellery manufacturing.

1983 - Welcoming International Brands to the Network

The Abdullah family began showcasing international brands within their retail stores, further expanding their diverse range of jewellery collections.

1995 - First Diamond Division Established

The Abdullah family created their initial wholesale diamond division, with the goal of enhancing the gemstone-studded jewellery they introduced to the market. This division also acted as the base for sourcing all materials for their gemstone and pearl jewellery lines, supporting their retail network and reinforcing their role as a wholesale.

2013 - Jawhara Jewellery Begins

The Abdullah family sold their Damas brand, and the third generation of the Abdullah family's jewellery legacy continues with the introduction of the Jawhara Jewellery brand, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of our distinguished heritage and commitment to excellence.

Jawhara Jewellery became an authorized Forevermark Jeweller in the Middle East, offering customers ethically sourced diamonds that epitomize beauty, rarity, and responsible sourcing.
